Dress Code
1. Belly buttons MUST be covered
2. No outside street shoes are to be worn in the studios. Please have separate shoes to dance in.
3. For all classes, hair must be pulled back
4. No jewlery is to be worn
5. Students must arrive dressed to dance in the appropriate dancewear per class.
Specific classes can have other dress code rules up to the teacher's discretion – please see below.
Ballet: Pre-Ballet classes:
Light Blue leotard, Light Pink Leotard, or Black leotard Light Blue or Light Pink skirt (optional) Pink ballet shoes and pink tights Hair in ponytail or bun, hair must be off the face
Ballet and Pointe: Black
Leotard Black ballet skirt or shorts Pink ballet shoes (leather or canvas) and pink tights Hair in a neat bun, hair must be off the face
Hip-Hop:
Athletic Top or T-shirt, No crop tops – belly buttons must be covered Shorts, leggings, or sweatpants – NO JEANS No booty shorts Sneakers (separate pair for just the studio) no street shoes worn outside of the studio are to be worn in the classroom
Jazz:
Any color leotard and tights, or a fitted athletic top, No crop tops – belly buttons must be covered fitted shorts or leggings – No booty shorts Black Jazz shoes
Lyrical:
Black leotard, pink or black tights or black leggings Ballet shoes, half contemporary shoes, foot undies or barefoot
Tap:
Any color leotard and tights, or a fitted athletic top, fitted shorts or leggings No booty shorts and No crop tops – belly buttons must be covered Black tap shoes
Theater:
Comfortable clothing you can move in No booty shorts and No crop tops – belly buttons must be covered No street shoes
Tumbling:
Any color leotard, or fitted athletic top, fitted shorts or leggings. No loose/baggy clothing – NO JEANS No booty shorts and No crop tops – belly buttons must be covered
